The Beetles team recently visited one of the many local VFWs we serve. Their new Commander is eager to modernize the Hall and eliminate temporary fixes that have been draining funds. Our team took charge and hand-excavated the storm sewer on the side of the building, where the sump line connects to the storm line.
Provided and installed a 4" cleanout and confirmed the connection type from the sump line. Used a camera to inspect the line up to 100' for any obstructions. Installed new piping with stone bedding and backfilled with existing materials.
During this process, we discovered the following: A belly in the pipe just past the sump line connection, The storm line leading to the backyard was clogged with mud and required jetting, and A large root ball was found at the discharge pipe in the back yard, which was removed to improve flow to the manhole.
